Reservations and Marketing Agent

CTC Package:                     $1 200.00 per month

Area:                                     September to May – Seychelles

                                                May to August – KZN – Umhlanga

 

Educational Requirements:

Diploma in Hospitably and Hotel Management

2+ Years’ experience in Reservations and Marketing.

 

Salary Package:

Duration of Contract: 24 Months

Flights, Visa’s all-inclusive of package

Accommodations taken care of while in Seychelles

               

Roles & Responsibilities:

Managing enquiries and sales coming from the agents,   tour operators and contracted to the company, Seychelles as well as all             direct reservation enquiries.

Answering or distributing all enquiries. Liaising with the contractor and client reservations team regarding availability,                provisional and confirmed bookings as well as charter flight reservations

Quote on all pre/post booking destinations arrangements and arrange all portions of the trip on behalf of the client]

Offer to  quote on international flights where applicable or put clients in contact with an airline    sales person to  assist

Learn all rates and packages and upsell  if and where you can

Producing sales reports as required (Mainly Opera Reports)

Content production for  weekly reports, social media and website content if and when this be required

Updating Opera and all  booking planners as information is received

Managing the Mahe pre/post accommodation an transfers sheet and reconcile   the invoices we receive from 3rd party handlers

Update flight costings sheets as per instruction. Reconcile and keep financial records as  per invoices received by IDC Aviation

Ensuring that you always have a clear understanding of the task  that has been  assigned to you and how it is aligned to            the business objectives nbsp;         

Ensuring that your tasks are delivered on time and of the necessary quality

Ensuring that you set accurate deadlines and meet those deadlines

Ensure  that you are continually kept up to speed with the latest developments of all aspects of the company, and you understand how any changes affect your specific tasks within your            role

Ensure  that a process    is provided whenever a routine task or  project has been assigned to you.  If none exists, construct one,   or ask   the relevant manager to do so

Continually innovate and take initiative  in your  role

Continually, holistically  and critically asses our   Sales & Marketing approach and strategy and look for areas where we can be more innovative and add value

Assist the Sales Manager in daily tasks including contracting and compiling of confidential documents

Record  payments and pay strict attention to payment policies,   cancellation policies and outstanding funds

Drawing up flight vouchers and  sending out timeously and send updates should there be any changes to timings

Have a sound knowledge of Opera, PMS and CRS and training in Vison would be beneficial

Learn all check out and  front office responsibilities as you will be scheduled to do front  office (reception) on particular days of the week        

Take reservations and marketing calls politely and give as much  information as needed  – follow up with an email if necessary

Ensure  all client pre trip info is  received and inserted into Opera before check   in

Will fulfil restaurant and bar hosting duties as per the weekly schedule

Be able to construct good Marketing material as needed and choose correct images for  particular publications
