Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • General reception duties, Billing, applying for medical aid authorisation, submitting claims, follow up on payments, & assist patients with medical aid related queries • Maintaining general appearance of the practice • Professional marketing & maintaining social media profile. Skill requirements: Maintaining high standard of confidentiality • Excellent communication & telephone etiquette, interpersonal & professional etiquette skills suitable for a mental health environment • Afrikaans & English language proficiency • Computer literacy, typing & Microsoft Office competency. Desired work experience: • 1–2 years minimum experience working in a mental health/medical/dental practice or similar environment • Working knowledge of PANACEA or DATAMAX or proficiency in any medical billing software & an understanding of ICD codes is an advantage Education: Post-matric diploma or undergraduate qualification will be an advantage. Work experience or qualifications in psychology/healthcare/wellness is an advantage Details of the employment: • Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 5pm, every 2nd Friday half day off • Remuneration depends on the expertise level of the applicant. • Report directly to 2 psychologists • Start date: 2 January 2020, but be available for orientation on 17 December 2019 (date negotiable) • You should receive feedback within 2 weeks of CV submission.
