Events Administrator

Are you wanting to use your strong administration skills to organise and ensure promoters are on board and scheduled for the various events scheduled. Our client based in Montague Gardens requires your ability to multi-task and run a busy desk to ensure that all promoters are booked and scheduled for events in order for events to run professionally and successfully.

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, 1-2 yrs admin and multitasking experience in a very busy administration environment

Promotions and event experience highly advantageous

Own vehicle highly advantageous

Ability to work independently and organise promoters for various events

Strong command in English and excellent communications – verbal and written

Communicate with FMCG reps, managers, promoters and suppliers on a daily basis

Highly Organised and well presented

MS office/reporting on PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

 

DUTIES

Organisation, booking, briefing promoters and managing their attendance at promotional elements

Ensure promoters have collected/returned all campaign/promotional elements and are fully briefed on  brand, activation/event information.

Events management

Liaising with clients, managers and reps

Recruitment of promoters

Weekly reports in PowerPoint presentations

Manage monthly promotion pay sheets in Excel

Telephonic weekend and after-hour follow-ups on promotions to ensure activations are successful

Willing to work/ manage activations outside office hour – solve problems that arise

Ensuring promoters are sorted and activations are running smoothly and replace promoters if  problems arise and they cannot attend

There will be the need from time to time to occasionally work after hours and weekends to help manage activations/events when onsite management is needed

Ability to manage 3-20 promotions a week

Assisting with all administration in office

Couriering of elements, filing and doing brand inventories/ sorting out branding elements

 

Salary: R   dependent on experience
