ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

The Role: * Reporting to the Chief Executive the Administrative Assistant will provide high quality admin support, but particularly the Fundraising Manager * The ideal candidate will be highly organised, with good communication and telephone skills and will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks effectively * Attention to detail is critical as well as the ability to compose and draft thank you letters and emails to donors and key supporters * Previous administrative experience in an office is essential as well as excellent and accurate data entry skills. * This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in learning about charities and fundraising The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience: * Demonstrable previous experience in administration * IT literate with a strong working knowledge of MS excel and MS word in particular mail merge * Previous experience of entering information onto a database * Professional and friendly telephone manner * Strong levels of literacy and numeracy * Strong work ethic, who is prepared to learn new procedures, is self-motivated and enthusiastic * Ability to communicate clearly and in a friendly manner and work as part of the team * Flexible and calm approach who is comfortable working in a busy environment Hours - 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday Email your CV to: eric@oracleconsult.co.za
