ER Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities Key Performance Areas: Chair Disciplinary, Incapacity due to Ill Health, Incapacity due to Poor Work Performance, Grievance and Appeal Hearings. Develop, implement and monitor labor related policies and procedures for the company. Respond, prepare for CCMA cases as well as representation at CCMA. Prepare Employee Relations Manuals for in-house training. Maintain and promote employee, employer relationships. Provide employee and employee relations specific advisory services. Identify risk areas and advise on mechanism to minimize risk. Ensure adherence to both substantive and procedural fairness in all proceedings. Compile and report on Employee Relations activity on a monthly basis. Desired Experience & Qualification Highly professional Confident. Passively assertive. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Flexible and open minded. Decisive Accountable Attention to detail Teamwork. Knowledge and application of Labour Legislation and Best Practice. Package & Remuneration Market Related. Key Performance Indicators: Chair Disciplinary. Incapacity due to Ill Health. Incapacity due to Poor Work Performance Grievance and Appeal Hearings Assist Manager with investigation for cases warranting suspensions. Ensure the suspension procedure is followed.
