Head of Department - Information Technology

Duties & Responsibilities Develop and write study material. Undertake administration and other academic duties assigned by the Dean of Faculty Participate in research development. Be willing to participate in curriculum development. Prepare, conduct and assess in Information Technology or related subjects/modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Manage workloads for lecturers within the department. Manage departmental budgets and promote financial sustainability Monitor teaching and learning processes for the department Supervise lecturers in the department Work collaboratively with other departments and faculties. Manage assessments Desired Experience & Qualification A Masters or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or related discipline. University teaching / professional experience will be an added advantage Demonstrate innovative thinking, teaching and learning skills. Good knowledge of technologies, such as Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, as well as C-Sharp Programming. Good communication and interpersonal skills Organizational and planning skills Good research skills Strong team orientation. Analytical and problem solving Administration and management skills Continuous learning Strong student focus. Professional / technical knowledge and skills Package & Remuneration.
