Group Financial Manager

My client from a Educational Institution is seeking a Group Financial Duties & Responsibilities Duties: Ensure effective accountability to the Chief Executive Officer / Chief Financial Officer for proper management and implementation of activities in finance within the Institution. Ensure effective & timeous communication and submission of monthly financial results to the corporate head office. Ensure implementation of policies and strategies that support the realization of departmental and divisional objectives and the Institution’s overall mission. Implement procurement, financial control and administrative policies and procedures to ensure effective performance and delivery of services and cause revisions of such policies and procedures as often as required. This includes Internal Audit of the policy implementation and maintenance. Provide actionable, relevant and time sensitive insight and information to the business to enable key business and strategic decisions. Requirements: CA (SA) qualification / CIMA with a minimum of 2 years post articles experience. Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Excel). Professional/proven communication skills. Deadline-driven. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task.
