Reservations and Events Manager

The Reservations & Events Manager assists the Sales and Revenue teams by overseeing, coordinating and directing the service, operations, logistics and activities of the Revenue Department in order to maximise Occupancy at the highest achievable Rate. Examples of duties & responsibilities: Ensure world-class service is delivered to the guest, in all reservation locations, by collaborating with the Hotel Teams on all matters impacting bookings and the guest service. Ensure that all SOP documents are continually updated to be current and ensure implementation and action by team Use operating systems effectively to improve efficiencies, maintain standards and deliver required service levels, that enable guests to be comfortably accommodated to the highest standards of the hotel. Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience within hospitality (or related industry). Relevant Tertiary Degree/ Diploma Or Similar - Desirable. Supervisory Experience Essential Positive Guest Orientation. Pride in excellent standards of service; strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), other languages advantageous. Thorough knowledge of the brands products, travel trade and conference industry Skillful application of MS Office, Outlook and Reservations .
