Events Manager (FMCG)

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: Planning and managing an event from conception through to staging and ensure that the event delivers against set brand objectives, with a high focus on on-con events. Liaise with various role-players, attend events for set-up /strike-off and facilitate the smooth execution of the event. Work closely with relevant brand teams on all event briefs, implementation and present post event evaluation/ reports. Working closely with the National Sponsorship and Events Manager. Planning and arranging of POS and ROI needed for events. Planning and co-ordination of all infrastructures including cold space (fridges) for events. Planning and co-ordinating of Promotional Liquor orders for events. Develop and prepare annual event calendar liaising with relevant brand teams. The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills: Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree / diploma; 3-5 years events management experience; Proven relationship building skills. Decision making and project management skills Must be Creative, innovative and self-driven Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic SAP Knowledge; Sound presentation skills and time management. People management skills and experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills. info@rnbplacements.co.za
