Events Manager (FMCG)

Purpose of the Position: To be the leading au.thority in Event Management creating aspirational and memorable consumer experiences that will engage consumers at point of consumption, within SA region. Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: • Planning and managing an event from conception through to staging and ensure that the event delivers against set brand objectives, with a high focus on on-con events • Liaise with various role-players, attend events for set-up /strike-off and facilitate the smooth execution of the event. • Work closely with relevant brand teams on all event briefs, implementation and present post event evaluation/ reports. • Working closely with the National Sponsorship and Events Manager. • Planning and arranging of POS and ROI needed for events. • Planning and co-ordination of all infrastructures including cold space (fridges) for events. • Planning and co-ordinating of Promotional Liquor orders for events. • Develop and prepare annual event calendar liaising with relevant brand teams. The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills: • Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree / diploma; • 3-5 years events management experience; • Proven relationship building skills • Decision making and project management skills • Must be Creative, innovative and self-driven • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic SAP Knowledge;
