Assistant Manager

A bar/restaurant looking for young, reliable, experienced and unique Assistant Manager. Someone who is GOAL DRIVEN, flexible, confident, work well under pressure and have a good knowledge of food and beverage. An individual that strives to learn more and be willing to go the extra mile. To qualify for this position, you need: -Grade 12. -Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment. -Knowledge of food service regulations. -Able to stay on your feet for an extended period of time. -Able to open/close shop. -Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. -Good knowledge about cocktails. -4 year experience in an F&B department and 2 year within a supervisory position -An education related for F&B or/and Management will be an advantage. -Will be responsible for cash ups and stock control. -Need to assist the GM and Other Management in duties. -Experience with POS systems will be an advantage. -Valid South African ID. -Need to have knowledge of stock control. -Valid Driver’s License and own Transport. -Need to practice health & safety as well hygiene. Knowledge of Excel. Able to work under pressure with attention to detail. Able to work extra hours when required.
