Quantity Surveyor

Our South Coast based construction company needs an experienced QS. Minimum Requirements: •Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying; •5 years relevant experience in retail construction environment; •Experience in preparing BOQ; •Experience of Procurement & Expediting Process; •Knowledge & experience of MS Office packages, MS Projects & Win QS; •Knowledge of JBCC contracts; •Knowledge of Cost control & Procurement; Responsibilities: •Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time & labour costs; •Support in Preparing and negotiating costs for tenders and contracts; •Compiling supporting documentation for claims management to client / contractor; •Support procurement and contractual issues; •Valuing completed work and arranging for payments; •Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work; •Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports; •Assist in Expediting purchases to meet relevant schedules / deadlines; •Assisting in Preparing expediting status report for packages; •Assist in drafting Final account & Purchase Order close out for review; •Adhere to Internal contracts / expediting Procedures, Policies & Work Instructions; •Maintain good ethical behaviour & practices at all times; •Cash flow projections; •Pricing variations and site instructions; •Preparing cost reports; •Re-measuring of works; Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to
