Restaurant Floor Manager

We are looking for a Floor Manager with 5 years experience, who will be responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for delegating tasks and address the needs of staff and the restaurant’s customers. You will manage employees. You will also ensure that the operations of the restaurant run smoothly. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Delegate assignments; • Greeting customers; • Provide on the floor support to employees for the duration of a service shift in such a way that it improves the speed, quality and efficiency of the work that has been allocated to staff members; • Manage the staffing and operations of the restaurant’s events; • Perform cash handling procedures such as cash ups at opening, during the course of and at closing of a service shift; • Coordinate customers’ bookings with the bar and kitchen staff; • Lead and motivate staff members; • Promoting the company culture to staff members; • Supervise employees; • Check the restaurant equipment for functionality; Info@rivoniaondeck.co.za
