Assistant HR Officer

We are on the lookout for an Assistant HR Officer
Key Activities will include, but not be limited to;
Assist the Human Resources manager and department with Human Resources issues.
Provide HR Support regarding daily operations
Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed
Assist with recruitment, interviews and on-boarding of employees
Assist in printing, collating and distributing training manuals and materials for workshops
Ensure performance reviews ar submitted by the deadline
Ensure regular communication on HR issues to the managers
Processing, scanning and filing of all Human Resource documentation
Assist with administration regarding Workmens Compensation, Staff Welfare (Pension Fund), Union correspondence, grievances and CCMA matters
We are looking for a candidate with
Relevant Qualification or studying towards one
Strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
MS Office proficiency
A strong work ethic, integrity and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
