Factory Manager

Our established client in the Meat wholesale industry is seeking a Factory Manager to join their fast-paced team in Johannesburg South. This position is for you if you can ensure that production targets are met, adherence to food safety standards are achieved whilst enhancing production efficiency. About You • You will have a minimum of 5 years’ factory experience within meat processing (including deboning and portion control) whilst managing a large team • A Food Safety Management Diploma / BSc degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent discipline. • You will have a good understanding of working to HACCP standards. Additional short courses such as SABS, NOSA, OHS beneficial. • You will be PC literate, with a strong financial understanding and cost modelling experience • You will be a self-starter who demonstrates a strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
