General Manager - Operations

Our client is looking for a General Manager - Operations to join their team in Richards Bay

Please note this is a 5 year performance contract. 


Requirements as follows:

BSc degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 

Postgraduate qualification in Management 

ECSA registration as Professional Engineer 


10 years relevant experience with 3 years at senior management level 

Understanding of legislation applicable to Public Institutions, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Labour  

Computer literate with use of operations and maintenance software packages 

Code B drivers licence

Infrastructure maintenance, operations and water distribution systems 

Understanding if engineering principles 

Maintenance of finance and tarrif structures
