Imports Administrator

The import administrator ensures that all the administration related to the imports are completed timeously. Job Responsibilities: • Apply for all relevant import permits with ITAC and ensure that it is kept up to date • Communicate all expected imports with the Freight Forwarder. • Arrange all outward payments on time • Monitor exchange rate hourly and report same to Management and relevant parties. • Ensure that the relevant documents are received from suppliers in order to import goods into the country. • Update all required information on the necessary spreadsheets. Job Requirements: • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. • Excellent communications skills. • Excellent customer relations. • High attention to detail • Excellent administration skills Education and Experience: • Matric/Grade 12. • 1-2 Years’ experience in shipping industry. p.a@safetygrip.co.za
