Brief Job Information: We are an established Property Management company in Gauteng with a national footprint and are looking for Portfolio Assistant to join our dynamic team of professionals. The property portfolio assistant will provide support and administrative assistance to a property portfolio manager managing Sectional Title schemes as well as Homeowners Associations alike. Key Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Typing of letters, notices, minutes 2. General management of correspondence (verbal and written) 3. Answering of telephone calls and attending or directing of enquiries 4. Drafting of templates (in word and excel) 5. Receiving, processing and finalising of insurance claims (with assistance of brokers) 6. General administrative tasks (filing, emailing, SMS etc.) 7. Liaising with trustees and directors in the absence of the portfolio manager 8. Preparation of financial records for auditors 9. Updating information on the internal office systems 10. Requesting authorization for payment of invoices 11. Preparation of meeting documentation (Annual General Meetings) Requirements: 1. Matric Certificate or higher qualification 2. Computer literate (MS Word & Excel) 3. Knowledge and experience with MDA Property Management Systems would be advantageous 4. Previous Property Management experience (Sectional and Full title schemes) 5. Knowledge of the relevant regulations and acts would be advantageous. 6. Strong administrative skills are essential 7. Own reliable transport. 8. Must be able to work under pressure 9. Must be organised and schedule driven (time management skills) 10. Must be willing and able to contribute to the service level expectations provided by seniors and management of the company 11. Attention to details 12. Fluent in the English and Afrikaans language (verbal and written) 13. Good communication skills . The salary on offer is market-related and will be negotiated after the interview, if successful.
