Our client based in Arcadia, Pretoria is looking for an HR Manager to join their company. Minimum requirements and responsibilities: 3-year Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or equivalent. 5 years of Human Resource experience with strong IR exposure within a Retail/FMCG environment Solid knowledge of relevant labour legislation, particularly BB-BEE Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act and Skills Development Act. Knowledge of the International Finance Corporation Performance Standards and International Labour Organization. Advanced competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Sound written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Core Duties & Responsibilities: Arrange all Disciplinary Enquiries and Grievance Proceedings. Facilitate and maintain good working relationships with union representatives as this becomes necessary. Implement and maintain a IR administration system. Reports on IR activity throughout the organization. Monitor internal labour relations trends and submit relevant reports. Identify and/or evaluate causes of conflict and propose appropriate corrective action. Represent the Company at the CCMA in Conciliations and Arbitrations. Manage and deliver IR-related training, including Chairpersons training. Provide advice to HR personnel and line managers in respect of procedural and substantive fairness issues.
