Position: Paid Media Specialist

Location: Erasmusrand, Pretoria East

Type: Permanent

Salary: R15 000 – R40 000 p/m

Starting date: ASAP/Immediately

NOTE: Candidates residing in Pretoria & surrounding areas would be given preference

  • You master paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Linkedin, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube and a range of other emerging social platforms.

You need to be someone who can work in a:

  • A small agency with growth opportunity (can get enough tools etc.)

  • Involved straight from Strategy to implementation

What the client is looking for:

  • You've got 5+ years of performance advertising experience ideally managing campaigns at a leading company, ad network or agency.
  • Experience with AdWords, Bing, Facebook Business, Twitter ads, Web Analytics, Tracking and bid management.
  • Experience using analytics or attribution platforms like Google Analytics, Omniture, Mixpanel, Looker, Adjust, AppsFlyer, Kissmetrics or other analysis platforms. You also have solid Microsoft Excel skills so that you can mashup data yourself as necessary.
  • Experience in Display Marketing with a specific focus on Programmatic platforms such as DoubleClick, Quantcast or comparable channels.
  • Experience in ad servers, DSP and DMP technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with native app analytics & marketing
  • Understanding of Organic Growth and the interaction between paid & organic traffic
  • Familiarity with various attribution modelling and the intricacies of each

What you’ll do:

  • You'll collaborate with your lead about outlining strategy, goals, budget, timing and deliverables
  • Responsible for campaign and channel performance across various networks, setting up campaign and media plans customised per campaign type and goal
  • You perform in-depth analysis of each campaign using data and qualitative insight to come up with suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure campaigns meet strategic targets and key growth and performance KPI's.
  • Be responsible for managing digital media budgets, liaising between the finance team and your lead for invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Manage key third-party marketing partnerships and relationships
  • Monitor industry trends looking for new trends, practices, technologies and products that drive competitive advantage while constantly looking out for innovative and exciting new opportunities that drive ROI and ROAS
  • You are always up to date with the latest Paid Media trends
  • You master and stretch the platforms (Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, 3rd party providers etc.), and proactively experiment with new ad formats
  • You master paid social campaigns across Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Linkedin, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube and a range of other emerging social platforms.
