Credit Controller

Our client is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team at their consultancy in Pretoria.
Daily Responsibilities:
Collection of outstanding debt from Customers in an efficient and professional manner.
Ensuring spreadsheets and documentation in relation to debt is completed accurately and to set deadlines.
The completion of tasks associated with the processing of payments and customer accounts.
The resolution of customer queries via telephone, email, call backs and workflows.
Ensuring assistance is provided for all aspects of Customer Service as and when required.
Any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your Line Manager
Role/ Department Responsibilities:
This is a highly varied role with responsibilities including but not limited to:

* Timely collection of debt
* Timely payments
* Resolution of customer queries
* Provide timely/accurate assistance for all aspects of Customer Finance
Candidate Requirements :
Matric Certification
We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team. Communicative, organised, flexible and committed and you must have a can-do attitude. You must also have:
3 to 5 years Credit Control experience essential
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate - Outlook, Word, Excel (essential) and Sage
Numerate, organised, logical and tenacious
Strong communication and interpersonal skill
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to prioritise and organise workloads
Attention to detail
Professional approach to customer calls
Experience working with Excel
Experience working within a Finance/Accounts Department
Desirable Experience:
Experience answering queries via telephone and email
Experience with the production of reports
Experience with other elements of finance administration
Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
The ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
Confident communicator.
Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records.
Good team work skills.
Good time management and communication skills.
The ability to work under pressure/prioritise own workload.
The ability to escalate problems/issues and request assistance from Managers and Internal customers to achieve results.
