Project Technician

Duties & Responsibilities Collate all project information (Drawings, specifications, data, special instructions, etc.) Develop and update Control Plans, FMEA’s Prepare work instructions, process charts Train employees and pair in Control Plans, FMEA’s, WIS and process charts. Set up production line standards Conduct SPC/ Capability studies Analyze capability studies trend in order to improve stability. Implement engineering changes. Develop action plans for realization of improvement part quality and stability. Optimize plant layout to improve material and product flow in plant. Investigate and respond to customer complaints Validate the production processes by measuring production quality. Investigate and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Documenting evidence of continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure that this information is effectively communicated to all relevant stakeholders Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PSW, FMEA, Control Plans and G8D AutoCAD Excellent Interpersonal Skills and ability to convey information across to others. Above average of written and verbal communication. Ability to take initiative, have good problem-solving skills, excellent time management and able to work independently. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
