Buyer (Project Controlling)

Job Order no: AP1623 Duties & Responsibilities The planning, control, organization, managing and tracking of New Projects to ensure that all parts and services are purchased at the best price with due regard to quality, delivery and sustainability in accordance with all applicable laws and due consideration of The Company's purchasing procedures. Desired Experience & Qualification • Commodity (Production) Buying experience, preferably within the motor or related industries. • A minimum of 3 years applicable experience would be preferable. • A recognized university Degree / Diploma in the following disciplines – Purchasing, Logistics, Commerce, Finance or Business Management. • Ability to analyse facts/situations and make decisions. • Oral and written Communication skills • Presentation skills • Above average computer literacy, especially MS Office packages. • Business management & Project management skills. • Customer interface and Conflict management skills • Ability to interpret technical data • Self-motivated and driven. • Have a sound understanding of The Systems i.e. PROMON, KVS, TEVON, AVON,BEON • Ability to interact at different levels within the organization. • Ability to understand technical drawings and the ability to read and understand a project timing plan will be very advantageous.
