Local Logistics Administrative Assistant

Job Order no: AP1664 Duties & Responsibilities Checking releases from sales Checking that stock requested is available Complete daily load out schedule Complete transporter purchase orders and send to relevant parties. Filing transport documents on monthly basis for Durban Scania truck. Contact transporters for rate sheets and GIT information monthly Working on SYSPRO Creating transporter purchase order GIT insurance reports Update transport rate sheets Vehicle tracking for various fleet vehicles Following up on truck ETA’s at the cold stores & ETD’s. Following up with clients to make sure the stock was well received Keeping HUMEINT Scania truck file up to date All other tasks and related duties as expected from the employer from time to time To undertake any other duties as requested by the Director, commensurate with the skills and experience of the post holder. Desired Experience & Qualification Matric. Computer literate (proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite) Administrative experience advantageous Understanding of costing and basic logistical procedures advantageous. Syspro experience advantageous Positive attitude Good communication skills. Ability to work independently while being a team player Meticulous attention to detail Accuracy and efficiency Excellent organisational skills Energetic and enthusiastic. angiep@mpc.co.za
