Dispatch Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities • Oversee the despatch operations. • Work closely with the production team and scheduling team to coordinate product requirements. • Prepare daily schedules for the equipment and staff, implement accordingly and monitors. • Monitor process and product standards stipulated in management programs, such as ISO-9000 and “Lean” practices, assuring levels of quality are sustained and improved upon. • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods. • Assure the proper level of machine capacity/personnel is available as required throughout the year. • Enforce all preventative maintenance programs and assure optimum machine functionality. • Ensure timeous picking, checking and packing of orders into Dispatch to meet SLA • Produce reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. • Ensure adherence to all general health and safety aspects as per OHSA. Educational Requirements • Grade 12 or equivalent . • Diploma in logistics or production management. Experience Requirements • 5 years related management and industry experience.
