MANAGER

Manager of a resort with a restaurant, outdoor activities and events. Requirements: • Great with numbers, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop / Illustrator • At least two years of experience working in an office (leading position) as well as experience in Hospitality, Bookkeeping & Graphic Design (editing photos & creating posters) • Food & Beverage knowledge • 1st aid course (great if certificate in life saving) • Well spoken: English (Afrikaans is a plus) • Great grammar & spelling: English • Live in Helderberg area (Gordon’s Bay / Strand / Somerset West) • Mid to late 20s • Driver’s license & own car • Healthy, Honest, Friendly, Groomed, Enthusiastic, Fit & sporty-looking. Main Job Duties (among others): • Train, motivate, lead, guide & coordinate a team • Deal with customer’s complaints (great people’s skills & customer service) • General Administration: answering the phone & e-mails, filing • Maintaining Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, etc. • Updating Website: new prices, products, specials, events, etc. • Edit photos and create posters . • Function coordination • Event’s organisation. • Marketing • Sales • Oversee food preparation & presentation • Stock-take • Cash-ups. Availability: Working Hours: 5 or 6 days a week from 8:00 – 19:00 (including weekends & public holidays) Working Period: September-April, possibility to stay on afterward. jacqueline@bluerock.co.za
