Senior Store Manager

The purpose of Assistant Manager is to supervise and manage the operations of the entire store according to agreed sales and profitability targets, be accountable for proper shrinkage and waste management and manage staff effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Manage Store targets and profitability • Stock control and inventory management • General Administration • Procurement of stock and other products • Sales and marketing development • Peop; management and the ability to lead personnel• Developing strong customer relations • Maintaining shrinkage and wastage within required levels. Knowledge Base: • Product knowledge • People Leadership • Production Planning • Profitability and Sales targets Management • Industrial Relations • Quality indicators • Retail trends Key Skills: • Computer literate • Customer Service • Organisation • Resilience – flexible and mentally tough • Management & supervisory skills • Negotiation skills • Interpersonal skills. • Analyse the profitability of the business and implement strategies to improve. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Retail Industry. A Retail qualification would be an advantage.
