IT/Sustainability Facilitator

IT SUPPORT/HELPDESK FACILITATOR. Requirements: • Prior technical experience or POS software troubleshooting is preferred. • 2+ year technical experience in IT, Computer systems education/experience required (A+ preferred) • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, multi-tasking and data entry skills • Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office (Knowledge of PMS-Protel, CCTV and POS will be advantageous) • Hospitality, Restaurant, Hotel experience strongly desired. • Must be highly self-motivated, patient, proactive and have a strong work ethic. • A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (able to work long hours and weekends if needed) IT Support function. • IT troubleshoot and resolve at least 75% of escalated technical IT issues dealing with hospitality computer based systems (i.e. networking, software applications, PC’s, scanners/scales, printers, pin pads, routers, access points, etc.) • Document new IT system problems/solutions • Troubleshoot general IT issues – internet, network, printing, performance, WiFi etc. • Provide friendly and professional, internal and external customer service at all times. • Keep current on new and existing equipment and software; attend in-house and product specific training when requested • Work efficiently in high call volume and pressure situations.
