Sales Engineer

• Mechatronics background with National Diploma 4 years’ experience in the field. The Sales Engineer generates and closes sales leads and ensures that Customer Needs are met. He must have good knowledge of, and aptitude for, Industrial Manufacturing Processes. Key areas of responsibility: • Become familiar with the products and software within the Ana-Digi offering. • Call on customers and identify their decision making representatives. • Conduct all sales negotiation in an above-board and ethical manner • Accurately cost customer requirements and generate sales quotes to suit. • Manage existing clients while generating new business. • Follow up on any sales issues and respond to channel support calls. • Consult with the Technical Team and the Logistics Manager to provide the best possible solutions to suit customer requirements. • Attend sales meetings, provide sales plans and call logs. Keep company CRM records up to date • All work must comply with the company ISO9000 rules and procedures. • Comply with all applicable Health and Safety rules and regulations. • Be willing and able to travel within South Africa when necessary. • Report any irregularities to the Sales Director/Managing Director. • Refer Project Work to Head Office and identify new System Integrators. • Achieve a minimum of “new business” sales calls/visits per week. • Meet and/or exceed the pre-set sales target.
