Our client in the Rustenburg area is looking for a Buyer (steel industry)

Experience & Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12

National Diploma or relevant equivalent qualification in Buying or Purchase Management

3 to 4 years Technical Buying experience

Knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market in area of specialization.

Driving of procurement BBBEEE requirements

Skilled in preparing and analysing complex technical specifications.

Valid drivers liscence

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

Attention to detail – ability to ensure accuracy of data and costs

Analytical – analyse data which will drive strategy and actions

Ability to work under pressure - prioritize and manage several tasks in a high pressure environment

Problem solving - effectively engage with stakeholders and promote good working relationships and resolve issues

Sound business ethics and values
