Pressure Vessel Inspector

Key responsibilities Statutory Inspections including Statutory Inspection on pressure vessels Servicing of Air Compressors and Pressurized Air Systems. Inspection of piping systems Inspection of valves safety valves Inspection of tanks Statutory record keeping of interventions on pressure equipment. Technical input into failure and repair studies Co-ordination and technical inputs into Risked Based Inspection studies on pressure equipment. Performing statutory inspections on Pressure Equipment in mining environment Pressure Equipment Regulations (PER) Inspection to Risk Based Inspection plans Pressure piping inspection to applicable API codes Valve and safety valve inspection to applicable API codes. Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements Applicant must be able to work in a coal mining environment, including Vessel entry Work in elevated positions Work outside in plant environment Grade 12, Math’s & Science / N3 with appropriate subjects (Math’s / Science /English) SAQCC Competent Inspector Pressure Vessels SAQCC Competent Inspector Boilers may be advantages SAQCC Inspector of Pressurized Equipment may be advantages.
