Marketing Coordinator

We require the services of an enthusiastic and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our team in a fast paced and energetic environment. As the Marketing Officer you will be responsible to oversee and ensure the company’s marketing campaigns are executed effectively. The successful candidate will ensure effective management of supplier’s database, press releases, launch events and report on all marketing related activities. This individual will work closely with our CEO’s / MD – therefore person must have an outgoing personality with an above average emotional intelligence. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: * Experience and active engagement with large variety of social media channels / platforms * Must have experience in communications and marketing strategies. * Business Development experience; content creation; and social media marketing * Experience in traditional and digital marketing environment . * Metric * Tertiary Qualification in marketing OR in relevant industry (Advantageous) * Personal Assistant to Director. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: * Working knowledge and understanding of the following social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Ads; etc. * Computer Literacy (MS Office) * Must be proficient in the following programs; Coral Draw, Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress and Powerpoint. * Diligent and meticulous attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication * Planning & Organisational skills * Superior presentation skills * Relationship –building skills * Strict adherence to turnaround time and deadline * Pride in ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service. * Completing tasks and following up without having to be told to do so ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages companies social media channels and media communications (write content for social media pages) * Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms. * Manage, maintain, administer and update companies’ websites * Develop all brand aligned digital artwork for social media and websites from concept to final product *Assist with creation, conception and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns. * Manage companies’ client and advertising E-mail database . * Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) * Assist sales teams with large projects, events and community management. * Communicating and liaising with communities, resident associations and Community Policing Forums. * Events management – planning and implementing community events. * Liaise with media and write press releases * Writes and distributes e- newsletters to customers / clients. * Identify timeously marketing materials (brochures, banners, flyers) that need to be updated, acquired, developed or supplied * Liaise with marketing material suppliers and designers and ensure contracted work is supplied as contracted. timeously and cost effectively * Maintain Business Development and Marketing files both hard copy and electronic * Compile presentations for marketing plans and analysis. * Collect statistical data for marketing projects; e.g. pre and post campaign analysis GENERAL: * RSA citizen * Own transport * Valid unendorsed drivers licence * Clear criminal record. * Good contactable references. REPORTING STRUCTURE: * Reports to CEO / MD OFFER: * We are offering a CTC of R12 000 – R15 000 per month. * This is negotiable based on current earnings and relative to experience.
