Sales Consultant

Overview:

The incumbent will be stationed within a professional outbound and inbound call centre environment that renders financial intermediary and advisory services to clients by providing various quotations that best suits clients' needs for extended vehicle warranty, service and maintenance plans. The successful hire will be expected to cold-call a large vehicle dealership group customer base, introduce and present the benefits of the products and prices and provide the client with suitable financial advice and realize sales targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calls - cold call vehicle dealerships and present the services and benefits and source leads
  • Stakeholder Engagement - client, dealerships (salesmen and F&I Managers) and various insurance companies
  • Realize Sales Target - ensure that the target amount of premium sold (SPV), number of sales and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working at a short term insurance industry
  • Must have experience in cold calling
  • Must have experience in selling extended vehicle warranty, service and maintenance plans
  • Must pass Regulatory Examination for Representatives
  • Full FAIS accreditation
  • Well-groomed with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must display an intense passion for sales
