A vacancy exists in our multidiscipline organization (Malelane Toyota (Pty) Ltd), we are looking for a vibrant sales person from the Automotive industry to support our sales management team and their prospective growth plans. Applications will only be considered subject to the following: EXPERIENCE: • 5+ years’ experience within the Motor Industry • Vetted strong and loyal client base. • Relevant experience in high job demand and tight turnaround time periods. • Highly developed customer interaction/service skills QUALIFICATIONS: • Matric • Competency in Computer Literacy (Office, Excel, Word etc.) The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (please Note: this list of responsibilities is not exhausted): KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • To maintain a list of new/existing customers and occasionally communicate with them to discuss business opportunities • Endeavour to secure contracts/agreements for the supply of vehicle units to businesses, government agencies, and private establishments • Identify current product pricings, competing products and new techniques of merchandising • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency and increase generated revenue • Interact with customers to identify their requirements and assist them in selecting a car that meets their specifications. • Support the sales manager and F&I team to ensure you are in line with set standards • Oversee the processing of client orders to ensure timely delivery of purchased units • Liaise with sales manager when needed to conduct negotiations with clients to reach a profitable bargain. • Meet set sales objectives and comply to established action plans for achieving these set targets. • Assist management with the merchandising and display of cars in the sales outlet • Collect, and hand sales account/records to F&I to analyze, and interpret sales to ensure balanced accounts. • Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person. • Arranging test-drives and accompanying customers on these tests. • Negotiating the final price for the sale. • Selling accessories or other services once a vehicle has been chosen. • Complete all the paperwork for each sale and hand to F&I before OTP. • Helping to increase the customer database and prospecting potential sales. • Liaising with the service team to ensure sold cars are prepped to a high standard and are ready for delivery within the agreed timescale. • Assist requests of customers who wish to part-exchange their current car for a new one • Conduct the inspection of automobiles to ensure they are in good condition. • Discuss any and all conditions for discount with sales management to ascertain any percent discount(s) allowed to be given to customers on outright purchase. • Maintain contact with clients to provide post-sales services, obtain customer feedback and resolve any arising customer issue.
