URGENT : HOEDSPRUIT, LIMPOPO. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will be required to assist with the effective and smooth operation of the Lodge Kitchen including planning and organising the preparation, cooking and presentation of food as well as staff supervision in absence of the Executive Chef, while promoting the company goals of guest service and satisfaction, team work, and financial performance for the lodge. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 . Formal Chef qualification . Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English Min 3-5 years’ experience in a 4* / 5* Game Lodge/Hotel at Sous Chef level. Culinary skills: Fine dining, bush cuisine, game drive picnics and snack, buffet, braais, Conferences/Banqueting etc. MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook Proven Sous Chef experience in a busy 4 / 5 star lodge kitchen, ,hygiene, safety, outstanding food production.
