Manager for Occupational Health and Safety

Description Duties (will include but not limited to): Safety Ergonomics Occupational Hygiene Policy and Procedure Compliance. Minimum Requirements: B.Eng. Degree or BSc (Mechanical/ Production Engineering or Natural Sciences) Strong working knowledge of the OHS Act no. 85 of 1993 and Regulations. 10 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, 5 of which should be in a management position Proven track record for risk reduction projects involving Safety, Ergonomics and Occupational Hygiene Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures or standards to establish a health and safety management system. Computer skills (particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Presentation / training skills Communication skills. Ability to work independently with highly motivated approach.
