Sales & Customer Service Manager

Our client a JSE listed company is recruiting for a Sales & Customer Service Manager, to sell its bespoke computer system.

Selling the ERP Software system to new customers:

Find and develop sales of the system to customers

Development and management of a long sales cycle 

Building relationships with existing and future clients

Ability to close new system sales effectively

Selling of new features to existing customers

Selling consulting services to meet existing clients new needs

Advanced Support:

Align expectations of customers with SLA and actual service offering

Monthly meeting with customers to ensure all issues are being dealt with 

Understanding customer systems, controls and needs

Assisting existing staff with more difficult (3rd tier) technical queries

Assisting clients to and document the system and cany changes

Project management for customers onboarding, new branches, office moves and system documentation

Customer support:

Maintaing price lists and billing of clients and chasing to ensure paid on time

Invoicing of customers monthly

Negotiating SLA's with customers 

Benchmarking of costs

Ensuring all non-SLA work done has an agreed price and order first

Payments of suppliers

A relevant tertiary qualification in IT systems

A degree in IT systems will be a strong advantage

5 years experience in IT Software program sales

5 years experience in the working of an ERP computer system

5 years experience in ERP computer systems support

5 years experience with KAM key customer support and assistance and SLA management

A proven track record
