Block Man



  • Ability to accurately cut as well as prepare items according to predetermined specifications with minimal wastage (this includes packaging specifications).
  • Maintain the use of best practice procedures in cold room storage.
  • Assumes the responsibility for efficient stock availability across all varieties and cuts of meat.
  • Responsible for always maintaining a clean deli and workstation (this includes machinery).
  • Ensures the excellent provision of customer service to all customers.
  • Strictly adheres to all hygiene and safety regulations.




  • Matric
  • 2 years’ Block man experience
  • No criminal record.
  • Clear ITC/credit history.
  • Must work 8 hour shifts Monday to Saturday, Sunday 0ff
  • Only SA citizens will be considered
