Entry Clerk

Duties (will include but not limited to): Liaise with internal and external customers and shipping lines to ensure effective communication at all times Accurately complete all applicable Clearing and Forwarding documentation Fulfill bill of lading obligations Refunds and Drawbacks liaising with custom specialist in obtaining revenue due Tariff analysis. Incoterm analysis Evaluate the requirements of the file and register it onto the Compu-Clear system - Various types of entries to be captured (DP/WH/XIR/XRW/RIB/IR) Capture the bill of entry for all import and export (Road, Sea and Air Freight) Booking and capturing of export orders - Tracking until delivery Fulfill acquittal obligations with SARS charges and arrange payment when required. Minimum Requirements: Knowledge of Customs within the Automotive Industry both Imports and Exports Knowledge of Duty Drawbacks Knowledge of Tariffs and Incoterms Compu-Clearing / Client Access / Cargowise system Experience. 2-3 years specific Experience Grade 12/ Matric Entry clerk / Shipping qualification Entry clerk Experience both Imports and Exports. Competencies: Result driven Planning and Organising Communication Analytical Thinking Detail orientated Teamwork Problem Solving Customer Orientation.
