Hotel Residential Coordinator - Knysna (Hospitality Industry)

Known for the best in luxury, Pezula Hotel is looking for a Residential Property Coordinator. The ideal candidate has fresh ideas, and has proven management skills, as well as at least 3 years’ experience in the property market, dealing with Home Owners and Guests. This position has plenty of room for creativity, initiative and career growth.



· Grade 12 or equivalent

· Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School diploma is advantageous


· Assist Residential specialist with functional administrative duties

· Assist and fulfil the gap between residential and facilities matters

· Evaluate the quality of residential and facilities work completed with Residential specialist

· Residential coordinators assistance should allow the Residential specialist more time to:

· Sign up more properties

· Increase communication with home owners

· Develop new residential modules

· Recognize residential challenges and creating profitable/operational solutions

· Monitor and assist in improving property specifications

Key Requirements:

· Must have a valid driver’s licence

· Must have own vehicle

· Must be a South African citizen

· Must live in and around the Knysna area

· Must have interest and experience in residential, interior and property matters

· Have the potential to develop into a Residential specialist

· MS Office essential

· Ability to multi task

· Have excellent communication skills

· Friendly and quality service orientated

· Flexible with working hours


Tasks (include but not limited to):

· Obtain quotes and meeting with suppliers

· Assist with winter planning

· Recognize operational residential challenges and assist with solutions

· Assist with weekly project management and cost control

· Assist in compiling interior surveys

· Co-ordination of interior and condition survey work

· Assist with creating and updating of house files

· Compiling of different appliance manuals

· Arrange appliance maintenance, services and repairs

· Updating of inventory costs

· Updating of body corporate permanent files

· Assist in creating additional residential modules

· Assist with insurance matters

· Communicate necessary services with managing agent to communicate with owners

· Assist with co-ordination of body corporate maintenance matters

· Assist with orders, allocations and invoicing

· Quality check of residential and facility work

· Assess, communicate and provide feedback on products and specifications
