Receptionist

Duties & Responsibilities Greet persons entering the organization and direct them to the right people • Control access to departments at reception area • Ensure all visitors complete the IOS document • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls • Take messages in a person’s absence and forward it to the relevant person via email, phone or personally. • Control all incoming/outgoing courier / post and forward it to the right people • Direct any C.O.D. customers to Sales Orders/Admin • Provide general administrative and clerical support • Give feedback to customers regarding order/s been dispatched • Follow up with customers regarding orders received • Attend to customer queries and try to resolve it with the relevant person • Report to Telesales Supervisor any sales queries not resolved • Assist Telesales Supervisor with the retail fill rates/compilation of information • Cold call potential customers we currently, especially in other areas that do not supply for leads/opportunities from list compiled by Sales • Control the issuing and ordering of all stationery and groceries.
