TRADE COUNTER MANAGER

Duties & Responsibilities Ensure staff responsible for each category manage their stock portfolios efficiently and effectively which includes merchandise and pricing portfolio. Manage sales stock to ensure stock availability, stock counts for ordering, and stock pricing. Oversee that stock is correctly displayed and priced for customer convenience. Train departmental staff on product knowledge. Manage day-to-day activities of the till staff which includes but not limited to cash-up, till floats, overriding and authorisation of transactions. Manage the Technical/Repairs Department within the Trade Counter for efficient customer service Manage floor staff including Pullers and Packers for replenishment of stock in the shop and assisting customers getting stock to their vehicles Manage till or cashier staff in terms price authorisations and overrides Identify and recommend areas/ways to improve processes. Maintain a neat, clean and organised work area Collaborate and work closely together in a team or group . Align own behaviour with the organisation culture and values. Achieve performance objectives as agreed with the line manager . Desired Experience & Qualification. Matric/Grade 12/Equivalent. 5 years’ experience in products, sales and customer service with at least 2 years in a team leadership role. MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. connect@accotech.co.za
