Facilities Manager

Introduction A spectacular opportunity lies with one of our clients who is looking to hire a Facilities Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the company's premises by planning, executing and monitoring all aspects related to facilities management, to develop and maintain policies, standards as well as operating procedures in support of the various facets of facilities management and EOHS, Duties & Responsibilities General upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards. Manage Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety requirements to keep all properties in compliance with the company’s and Statutory Policies and Guidelines. Management of the cleaning, waste disposal, catering, security and parking of each site. Work with Procurement and the Finance departments to manage the budgets for these services and keep records of all payments. Keep leases up to date and assist Procurement with lease negotiations / renewals. Ensure that the services offered by the landlord are fully aligned with various lease conditions. Desired Experience & Qualification A National Diploma / Degree in Facilities Management, Office Management Financial Management background is advantageous Relevant experience in Facilities Management A valid driver’s license.
