Learning and Development Manager

Duties & Responsibilities 1. Do you hold a tertiary qualification? 2. Are you a registered Skills Development Facilitator? 3. Do you have experience with compiling and submitting WSP/ATRs 4 Do you have a minimum 3 years’ experience in Learning and Development ? 5. Do you have experience in the financial services or short-term insurance sectors? What you will be doing: • Identify and assess future and current Learning & Development needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers. • Draw an overall or individualised training development plan that addresses need and expectations. • Deploy a wide variety of Learning methods. • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions. • Monitor and evaluate Learning programs effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them. • Provide opportunities for on-going development. • Maintain a keen understanding of Learning & Development trends and best practices. • Oversee and manage all Bursaries, Learnerships and Internship application through INSETA. • Manage all INSETA Discretionary and Mandatory grant recoveries. What we require: • Minimum 3 years’ management experience in Learning & Development. • Experience in a Financial services/Short term insurance industry would be advantageous. isabel@mecs.co.za
