Recon Clerk

This role would report to the Finance Manager and is to assist the other members of the team with accurate and up to date data. Attention to detail would be key.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential Criteria:

  • Accounting background, Basic accounting knowledge
  • Accounting qualification would be favorable
  • A clear understanding of the Reconciliation process (1/2 years experience)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics - Navision

Key responsibilities:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Tasks
    • Check Exchange rates
    • Download financial and transactional data
    • Daily Recon Checks
  • Weekly Tasks
    • Weekly Data Check - Imported Data (ERP staging)
    • Weekly Data Analysis
    • Weekly Bank Statement Capture and Update
  • Monthly Tasks
    • Bank Reconciliation
    • Assistance with Monthly Audit File
    • Assist with Fee Analysis / Fees Schedules
  • Adhoc Tasks
    • Assisting peers/staff with general enquiries
    • The motivation of team members
    • Work Pride
    • Taking ownership of tasks and projects allocated by management
    • Aspiring to meet deadlines
    • Effective communication
