Sales Executive - Media Resources & Media Asset Management

Annual KPA’s

  • Setting annual client targets in conjunction with senior Management
  • Quarterly sanity checks of target vs achievement with senior management

Monthly KPA’s

  • Target Setting for AE’s
  • Creating a monthly forecast
  • Evaluating the following and current months renewals and ensuring that they are being followed up.
  • Set closing date and ensure invoicing is completed at the agreed upon date (notify senior management of this on the 1st of the month)
  • Balancing Sales by agreed upon date
  • Ensuring sales reports are accurate
  • Providing sales results to finance for commission purposes.
  • Ensuring that each member of the sales team reaches their target and that group target is achieved.
  • Identifying and reporting sales/client trends to senior management
    • Account moves
    • Big personnel moves
    • Competitor Information
    • Dramatic changes in sales value from month to month
  • Qualifying potential high value deals and escalating to senior management
  • Identifying staff concerns and escalating to senior management
  • Ensuring that key accounts strategies are being followed for all clients:
    • Pro-active searches
    • Quote follow ups
    • Courtesy Calls
    • Client Visits
  • Ensuring that debtors / accounts queries are resolved

Daily KPA’s

  • Servicing assigned clients as per agreed service levels (research, quotes, licenses and invoices)
  • Handling escalations from the sales team
  • Handling escalations from accounts
  • Providing updated sales attainment figures to senior management on a daily basis
  • Distributing registrations and leads received from 3rd parties or from our website.
  • Keeping abreast of key metrics:
    • Searches done (editorial / commercial)
    • Quotes sent (volume and value)
    • Invoices issued
    • Leads received
  • Ensuring Sales team is delivering on required activity (client calls, visits, sales)
  • Ensuring all processes are adhered to.
  • Ensuring that back-up staff are in place to handle tasks for team members on leave etc…
