Branch Secretary

RESPONSIBILITIES
o Take full responsibility for the Johannesburg switchboard including the front desk and the relieve roster.
o Answering of all incoming calls, not directed by the automated system, and connecting callers to the
correct person, including taking accurate messages when employees are not available and delivering them
timeously.
o Monthly updating and checking of the branch & National Extension list
o Assisting with Purchase Orders
o Assisting with expense claims as and when required
o Data capturing of events on the Company’s CA (Compliance Approval) System
o Checking stationary stock levels and ordering the necessary stock as and when required.
o Ordering of monthly groceries for the Johannesburg office.
o Assist with arranging catering for in-house training and Exco meetings.
o Any other branch ad hoc administrative duties as and when required

REQUIREMENTS
o Matric
o At least 2 years previous working experience
o Valid code 08 driver’s license & own vehicle
o Fluency in English a necessity
o Well-presented and professional demeanor with attention to detail
o High level of communication and telephone skills
o Excellent administrative skills
o Intermediate computer literacy
o JDE (or similar ERP) experience an advantage
