Entry Level Clerical Assistant

Our client has a position for an Entry Level Office Clerk
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Assist in all office clerical tasks (e.g., data entry, filing, records management)
Switchboard and reception relief
Update files and databases.
Collect and disperse mail, faxes and e mail correspondence to the relevant staff member or department
Assist with the preparation of mailing and overflow typing
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
National Senior Certificate
6 months to a year generalized clerical/ administrative experience ( preferably in a corporate environment)
Competency in Microsoft Office software applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet)
An energized, “can-do” attitude
Dependable.
Ability to understand and follow directions. .
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and customers
Self-motivated, but able to take direction and training well
Integrity, honesty and respect.
Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential materials and information
