General Payroll Officer

A vacancy has arisen for a General Payroll Officer
Essential Skills/ Qualifications :
3 to 5 years Wages/ Payroll Experience and Payroll Certificate would be an advantage.
Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Payroll software capturing systems / programs knowledge
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline orientated environment.
Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
Ability to work in a well-organized manner and demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail, even when under pressure
Daily Duties:
Input of employment data onto computerized payroll system
New engagements, terminations, leave applications, etc.
Report salaries/ payroll discrepancies to Payroll Manager for resolution.
Check all scheduled payroll disbursements for errors.

Reconcile salary/ payroll for assigned departments.
Attend to employee queries with regards to employment information
Assist with general Payroll queries and administration
Monitor payroll outputs
