Solution Sales Executive - Vehicle Telemetry & Fleet Management

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Sell our clients solution offerings to prospects and customers according to the go- to-market strategy within an assigned territory:

The role is target driven role so the person occupying the role should be tenacious in the conduct to meeting or exceeding the targets laid down by the business.

  • Develop new business opportunities with potential customers at all stages of the sales cycle to include targeting, prospecting and presenting compelling business propositions.
  • Achieve growth through new business generation.
  • Work effectively with decision makers, i.e., CFO, Directors, to develop long term strategic relationships
  • Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of our client’s products solutions.
  • Cold Calling
  • Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales
  • Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts
  • Responsible for all sales actives (Lead Generation to Deal Closure)
  • Develop and implement agreed upon sales plan
  • Act as a mentor for less experienced team members.

BACKGROUND OF SOLUTION SALES EXEC

  • Previous experience of driving sales ideally in any of following industries:

o Telematics

o Fleet Management Leasing

o Large Commercial vehicle sales (Truck/Light Delivery Vehicles; Trailers; Plant and Equipment sales)

o Information, Communications and Telecommunications

o Fleet Management Software or Systems

o Software as a Service (SaaS)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
  • Strong personal network within the relevant industry as stated above.
  • Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales.

EDUCATION

  • Degree/Diploma Business Management/Sales/Marketing
  • Minimum 7-10 years sales and territory management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • PC proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to define and operationalize sales
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
